ABOUT US

We are located in Lebanon, Oregon, and live and work on our 30-acre family farm. At Miss Honey's Corgis, we take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all our pets. That’s why the happiest days for us are when one of our animals is adopted by a loving and welcoming family. We are a family-run, small town, and cruelty-free breeder. All of our corgi babies have their tails! The owner of Miss Honey's Corgis is a recently retired (as of June 2022) high school English teacher and full-time animal lover.

ABOUT THE BREED:
PEMBROKE WELSH CORGI

So, you've decided to purchase a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. What an exciting decision! The very first step that we recommend is researching the breed. A corgi's personality is optimistic, rambunctious, and highly curious. They are quite intelligent, and make for excellent family dogs. They are gentle and loving when in the home, and up for an adventure when outdoors.

Corgis are not for everyone, as they are a breed that needs dedicated exercise time every day and training to help keep that mischievous edge in line. Without proper exercise, engagement, and attention, they can be loud, they can form poor chewing habits, and they can have excessive amounts of energy. They were bred as a herding dog who needed the energy to work, and are therefore also considered a working dog. It is up to you to make sure that you are able to provide the time and love needed to help your pup become the very best corgi that we know they can be!
